Offices

Creative Manitoba has various office spaces available to rent to individuals and organizations of any shape and size! Ideal for small organizations, startups, creative teams, and freelancers seeking a welcoming and functional workspace.

Amenities Included with Rentals

  • Shared reception services
  • High-speed wireless internet access
  • Kitchen facilities
  • Coffee/tea/filtered water
  • Use of meeting/huddle and boardrooms (4 hours of boardroom use per month included)
  • Fee-based photocopier/printer access 
  • Optional post box rental for $20/month (six-month minimum)

Zoom/live streaming technology with Meeting Owl can be added to your rental for a surcharge. ($50/daily for members, $75/daily for non-members)

Our Zoom Pro account may be rented by members without a room rental for virtual meetings, depending on availability ($25 for a 2-hour minimum, $10/hour for every additional hour).

All bookings have a 2-hour minimum and an 8-hour daily maximum.

Day rate assessed for bookings over 5 hours. Hourly rate assessed for bookings under 5 hours.

For events that do not fall under regular daytime, evening, or weekend rates, a $25/hour staffing surcharge may be added.

All rental spaces are furnished as-is.

Private office and hot desk rentals require a 50% deposit to be applied towards the first month’s rent prior to move-in.

Rentals are confirmed once full payment has been made.

Rentals that are cancelled up to two weeks prior to booking will receive a 75% refund.

Rentals that are cancelled up to one week prior to booking will receive a 50% refund.

No refunds will be issued to renters who cancel within one week of their booking.

Last-minute bookings made within 1 week of the event are non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued for renters who do not show up for their booking.

Creative Manitoba reserves the right to cancel confirmed bookings due to weather, natural disasters, or conflict with Creative Manitoba activity. A full refund will be issued in such circumstances.

Creative Manitoba assumes no liability with any personal property situated in the licensed area or in the building. It is advised that each individual tenant shall obtain commercial general liability insurance, employer’s liability, and worker’s compensation insurance during the term of a lease.

Office 3Z -
A light-filled space for 1 - 2 people

A cozy and welcoming office space, ideal for one or two people to work on their artistic undertakings. This room has warm natural light and a great view of McDermot Avenue for when you need to take a break and clear your mind.

  • $450.00/month (month-to-month contract)
  • Office has a curtained interior window as well as south-facing windows with views of McDermot Ave
  • 112 sq feet

Looking for a space for a few hours or a few days? We have you covered. Creative Manitoba has three multi-use spaces available for your workshop, meeting, training session or get-together of up to 45 people.

Boardroom Rental

Maximum capacity is 12 people

  • Tenants: $25/hour; $125/day
  • Creative Manitoba members: $35/hour; $150/day
  • Non-members: $40/hour; $175/day

    Ways to access our space:

    1. Main entrance: Located at the intersection of McDermot Ave and Arthur St up several flights of stairs.
    2. Side entrance/delivery entrance: Located on Arthur St through a glass door then up eight steps to use the elevator.
    3. Accessible entrance: Located around the corner from the Arthur St entrance, at the back lane of Arthur St. Through the steel door, take the lift to bypass the eight steps, then take the elevator.

    Please note, this door is always locked and unfortunately is not a power door. To have this door unlocked and/or to receive assistance during office hours Tuesday-Friday 10am-3pm, call 204-927-2787. (If you are attending an event outside of office hours, please make arrangements in advance.)

    Our bathrooms are single-stall, gender-neutral, and accessible, although they do not have power doors.

    Creative Manitoba is a scent-reduced environment.
